Am I Dreaming?
Nightmare Before Nutcracker tells the story of a young ballerina, Claire Steele, contending injuries, personal demons and an antagonistic choreographer as she makes her way back to the top. Joining Claire’s fight are intelligent mice and a boy neighbor with many toys. Like the original Nutcracker, his toys—soldiers, action figures and now cars-a—come to live in Claire’s dreams to do battle against an army of cats and monsters made of candy, pots and pans and kitchen utensils.
The performance comprises original ballet, modern dance and action-packed video portraying an epic battle of clashing toys and monsters. Set to the music of Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi, Wagner and many modern rock and Halloween pop hits. This instant holiday classic will make its world debut here in the Dallas area this Halloween at the Bank of America Theater at the Eisemann Performance Center in Richardson, Texas.
The show starts October 25th and runs until October 29th. There will be seven performances in the BOA Theater (capacity 395) and a separate Costume After Party following the Saturday night performance. Follow this link to purchase your tickets today:
